Customers are afforded the flexibility to select the specific components they wish to incorporate during the rebuilding process, as well as the extent of services they require. It is important to note that the pricing of the service will be adjusted in accordance with the chosen scope of work.

As the Gunsmith, I will furnish a recommended list of components, which will be utilized in the absence of specific preferences from the customer.

When it comes to handguns, consistency is of paramount importance as our lives may depend on their performance. In the realm of consistency, some think of renowned brands like Glock, Sig, or Walther, while others hold the classic 1911 in high regard. Despite being one of the oldest firearm designs, the 1911 has stood the test of time; however, not all 1911s exhibit the desired level of consistency.

Over time and after firing countless rounds, the once snug fit between the Barrel, Slide, and Frame can deteriorate, leading to wobbling and malfunctions. Additionally, the ejection pattern may become erratic, and feeding problems may arise, especially with hollow-point ammunition.

This is where our "Rebuild" service proves its worth.

The All Encompassing package includes the following:

• Precision re-fitting of the frame to the slide, achieved through TIG welding, followed by meticulous milling and stoning to ensure a perfect, tight tolerance.

• Replacement of the barrel with either a factory part (e.g., Colt factory barrel for a Colt rebuild) or a high-quality American-made barrel from brands like Fusion, Knight Hawk, or equivalent. The barrel ramp is polished to a mirror finish to facilitate flawless chambering of conventional ammunition. Lastly, the barrel-to-bushing fit is perfected to eliminate play.

• Complete replacement of the trigger, hammer, sear, and disconnector, professionally filed and stoned to achieve a crisp 4 to 3.5 lb. trigger pull weight.

• Adjustment of the trigger loop and grip bushings to enable smooth magazine changes.

• Sight adjustment to align with the modifications.

• Replacement or adjustments to the ejector and extractor, resolving jamming and eliminating the need for impractical advice like "grip it tighter."

Our service is designed to preserve the firearm's cosmetic integrity as much as possible. We understand that certain imperfections, like the "idiot scratch" or holster wear, may hold sentimental value. Consequently, we do not include surface refinishing as part of the package. However, should you wish to have your firearm refinished, we can provide or facilitate access to various refinishing services to suit your preferences.

Super Long Slide Conversion Service:

Cost: $1250 + Firearm

Please note, this service makes use of the customer's provided Government length 1911. The reason for this is because the slide that comes with the provided firearm will be cannibalized in the process of the conversion.

If the customer wishes for the slide not be used in the conversion, look into purchasing a Pre-made kit. They are located in the 'Firearms for Sale' Tab.

We can provide a 16 inch barrel rechambered for 460 Rowland! This monstrous cartridge brings with it a massive speeds of over 1500 fps, proving valuable in hunting or show-boating

   In Short, the Super Long Slide Conversion service enhances the performance of a 1911, through the use of extending the barrel and slide length, resulting in superior velocity and accuracy.

This service includes:

• Extension: The gunsmith will take the provided slide and, making use of welding/machining practices, extend the slide to an astounding 16 inches of length.

• Replacements: The barrel that was provided with the firearm will be replaced with a 16 inch barrel. We will provide a new bushing and ejector, along with new sights and springs!

• Precision Fitting: The barrel will be precisely fit to the new bushing and provided slide.

• Refinishing: Due to the intrusive nature of the conversion process, we will offer a free cerokote job to blend the work done and add a sleek new look.
